Tom Hillis, Esq.

R. Tom Hillis, Esq. is a founding partner of the Titus Hillis law firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Hillis represents and defends employers, including family employers, in his capacity as an attorney. Mr. Hillis is co-founder and serves as managing principle of Galahad Advisors, Inc.

Mr. Hillis is one of a handful of attorneys specially appointed Adjunct Settlement Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. In this capacity, Mr. Hillis has helped mediate lawsuits between employees and employers for several years on behalf of the U.S. District Court. His ongoing experience as an Adjunct Settlement Judge has provided Mr. Hillis a unique insight into the exposures employers face on a day-to-day basis.

Mr. Hillis is also a frequent commentator on the workplace including serving as expert commentator for several online forums sponsored by insurance carriers on employer exposures, including exposures of family offices. He has written several online pieces for financial organizations that provide insurance coverage for workplace exposures including international financial services companies such as Chubb, Travelers, Beazley, Munich Re and The Hartford.

Mr. Hillis received his undergraduate degree in 1984 and his law degree with honors in 1987 from the University of Oklahoma where he was Order of the Coif and a member of the Oklahoma Law Review.
